Rent-A-Center Settles Allegations by Washington State Attorney General

The Washington State Attorney General (‘AG”) accused Rent-A-Center of using unfair and deceptive collection practices. The AG announced on or about March 1, 2010 that Rent-A-Center had settled the allegations. Rent-A-Center denies any wrongdoing, and there was no finding of liability.
